It’s the lightest Vaporfly in franchise history—up to 10% lighter than the Vaporfly 3—through simultaneous reductions in foam, outsole, and upper. The full-length ZoomX PEBA foam midsole runs from heel to forefoot with an updated Flyplate curvature for more efficient energy transfer at every push. Drop is reduced to 6mm—lower than the Vaporfly 3—for more direct ground contact and more natural propulsion across all distances from 5K to marathon. The engineered knit mesh upper delivers a near-absent feel on the foot, breathable and precise, with the oversized Swoosh diving from upper to midsole in the same graphic gesture as the Alphafly 3. Refined rubber outsole under the forefoot maximizes push-off traction while minimizing weight.
